Small Commercial Engines Value Stream Leader – PW800 Programs

The PW800 Value Steam Leader is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to assure success of the program, including customer satisfaction, financial targets, quality and delivery.

In addition, the Value Stream Leader is the primary interface with the customer for all program elements.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for projects.

• Interface with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion and lead status meetings for key projects.

• Lead cross-functional teams to estimate and complete projects on-time and within budget. Guide the team to develop mitigation strategies for critical path milestones.

• Identify and react to program level problems and support solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications.

• Participate in and lead the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and protect the organization’s interests.

• Prepare and present high visibility customer or internal task status and value-stream short to medium term strategy to Collins Senior Leadership

• Support annual strategic planning, cost of sales, pricing, budget and staffing efforts for the value stream.

• Recommend and implement new processes, policies, standards or operating plans in support of the value stream strategy.

• Lead internal and customer meetings to review Key Performance Indicators

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in negotiation, proposal development, coordinating business plans, and program and contract execution

• Experience leading cross-functional teams to execute a wide range of difficult and unique issues across multiple organizations

• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality

• Customer or supplier facing experience

• Aerospace experience

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
