Aerotek CNC Machinist in Wausau, Wisconsin

Description:

  • Conduct inspection of parts during the run per the work instruction and maintain part specification.

  • Responsible for maintaining tooling and inserts.

  • Conduct daily/weekly maintenance inspections of equipment and record.

  • Follow established material handling procedures.

  • May operate other equipment/machines as directed by supervision.

  • Maintain flexibility as job or machining priorities change day to day.

  • Follow all safety instructions while performing job duties.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in a machinist role

  • Able to set up equipment

  • Proven experience using micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools

  • Experience with any of the following:

  • Manuel lathes or mills

  • 3-6 axis equipment and or turning centers

  • Able to work in a fast pace environment and operate multiple machines at a time

Work Environment:

  • Climate controlled machine shop.

  • PPE: steel toes, hearing protection and safety glasses required.

Shift:

1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available

Shift Schedule:

Offering 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts
