Position Overview

As theApplication Specialist EMEAat Permobil, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the life cycle of critical systems within the company. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective application management, aligning with Permobil's application management model to optimize system performance and functionality. This role demands problem-solving skills, technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices.

This is a hybrid role, and you can join us from Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy or Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Application Management: Lead and oversee the entire life cycle of critical systems, ensuring alignment with Permobil's application management model for optimized system performance.

• Problem-Solving and Improvement: Proactively troubleshoot system functions, identify operational improvements, and provide technical solutions and enhancements. Offer second-line support to end-users, ensuring world-class assistance.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Technical Leadership: Engage with stakeholders to understand their system needs, providing technical guidance to developers for new features. Coach and educate superusers on new functionalities.

• Solution Analysis and Project Support: Evaluate and document potential solutions, whether off-the-shelf, in-house, or outsourced options. Support impactful project solutions aligned with business priorities.

• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture and information security policies. Stay updated with industry developments to implement best practices.

• Accountability for the stable operation of applications within the designated scope.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an application specialist or similar role.

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Certified in ITIL Foundation V3/V4, showcasing a strong foundation in IT service management principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of system development methods and standards.

• Familiarity with business processes and logic within manufacturing companies.

• Knowledge of software validation, Jira, and LeanIX.

• Deep understanding of major business system design and features within the specified domain.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written,

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities,

• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams,

• Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
