Fabrication Tech 1:

• Learn and understand S, Q, D, C, 1 concepts
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in times of need/requirement.
• Assist tool selection in the development and implementation of fixtures for new product development.
• Review, understand and follow standard work, tool setup sheets, and standard operations for production jobs.
• Identify and trouble shoot various problem (improper tooling, dull tools, wrong location of machined feature, code errors, etc.) and develop corrective action to prevent re-occurrences.
• Perform Quality Assurance activities while operation equipment (Optical systems, calipers, gags, indicators)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Functional knowledge of conventional manufacturing equipment.
• Interpret technical prints (GDandT)
• Must have basic knowledge of CNC machine "G-Code" and troubleshooting skills
• Experience maintaining and changing tools
• Experience determining offsets and adjusting accordingly
• Interpret Work Orders and enter data into the Manufacturing database (ERP)
• 3-5 years of machining experience is preferred
