JOB PURPOSE: To design or assist in the efficient, economical design, installation and maintenance of assigned equipment, troubleshoot operational problems, coordinate schedules for construction and ensure environmental guidelines are maintained.

By utilizing IT knowledge and language programming , integrating data from PLC and instrumentation, and displaying it. Employees can clearly learn about equipment status and steps, reducing equipment breakdown diagnosis time.

Assignments may include but would not be restricted to the following type of work:

Related electrical power components, lighting systems, heat-treating systems, machine tool electrical systems, and other electrical systems. Writes specifications and methods of installation, recommends changes, coordinates installation 改进schedule and follows to insure project completion.

Troubleshoots throughout the plant to determine cause of failure, lack of efficiency and the need for repair or improvement of systems or equipment. Resolves problems in design and recommends solutions to prevent recurrence of problem. Troubleshooting duties may be specific in nature based on area of expertise but could include other disciplines. Knowledge of computerized systems is necessary to properly diagnose problem and make appropriate solution recommendations.

Determines legal requirements for hazardous wastes, air emissions, etc. and ensures that the plant is in compliance with state, federal and local laws and regulations. Conducts necessary training for plant personnel, reviews new products for proper handling procedures and prepares appropriate writings to comply with regulations and prevent non-compliance charges.

Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, hazardous materials, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

Requires a degree in Electrical, Automation or IT software related major

•  Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.

•  Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.

•  Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

Level Working Knowledge:

•  Documents common hardware, software and communications problems and likely resolutions.

•  Troubleshoots typical technical problems in a specific area.

•  Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools and utilities to discover application problems.

•  Adheres to standard troubleshooting procedures to ensure effectiveness of resolutions.

•  Participates in setting evaluation standards and criterion for troubleshooting.
