Technical sales support and project manager for Sivacon low-voltage switchgear - Siemens Electrification & Automation

Our energy system is undergoing rapid change. The roles and options of individual energy sources for electricity generation are changing, as is the way in which electricity is transmitted and distributed. Energy production is becoming increasingly decentralized, which means that decisions about the management and control of the electricity grid are becoming increasingly complex. At the same time, the world's energy use is increasing steadily.

Siemens is a leading supplier of power distribution equipment and in the Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation business area, we work with the market's most complete product portfolio, which includes the low-voltage switchgear Sivacon, the medium-voltage switchgear NX Air and our Siprotec relay protection. In our team, we work with projects and deliveries containing everything from small product deliveries to large, complex product and/or system deliveries, such as E-houses. We are now looking for an energetic employee for a combined position as technical sales support and project manager of Sivacon low-voltage switchgear. Depending on experience and skills, other assignments may also be included.

Challenge

In the role of technical sales support and project manager for low-voltage switchgear, you will be the spider in the web for our low-voltage switchgear business and deliveries. Together with our sales representatives, you will work with customers and, together with our factory in Germany, develop technical solutions and prices that meet the customers' requirements and expectations. When ordering, you have the technical and commercial responsibility for the delivery to the customer. Some tenders/deliveries also include the installation of the switchgear, in which case you are responsible for coordinating the installation work with external assembly companies.

If you have experience from testing/commissioning switchgear, it may also be relevant that you are responsible for the testing on site at the customer's premises before handing over to the customer. The role also includes being responsible for the finances of the deliveries. This means making sure that the costs do not exceed the project estimate and actively working for additional sales during the course of the delivery. As monthly project reviews are conducted with the Siemens project manager and project controls, the position requires administrative and financial interest/ability.

Who are you?

To feel at home in the role, you are a person who appreciate a flexible and changeable everyday life in an international environment. You are used to working both independently and in a group and take great responsibility for how you plan your days. To help Customers and figuring out the best solution for them is something that motivates you and you always want to be able to provide the best service even when you run into trouble. With your social and communication skills, you find it easy to make contact with people and have no difficulty adapting to new situations. You are solution-oriented and constantly work with the customer and delivery in focus as well as to improve margins. We would like you to live in or close to Västerås, Solna, Norrköping or Mölndal, alternative location may however be possible.

Your background:

  • You have experience in electric power where you may have worked with installation/construction or similar of low-voltage switchgear and have a technical education at at least upper secondary level or equivalent competence

  • You have good knowledge of different types of power plants and have an understanding of different customer requirements

  • Can communicate in Swedish and English in both speech and writing

  • You have a driver's license (B) as the service includes travel
