Description:

This position is based in a shop that builds high-quality, custom-engineered industrial control panels in a fast-paced, Lean manufacturing environment. Our client serves a variety of industries, including packaging, pharmaceutical, and water/waste water plants.

Our client engineers will design the products and how the panels should be put together. They set up department will actually work off the diagram and set all the pieces up on the board. The set up department verifies everything fits with the diagram provided, and will make changes if need be. The panels then go to the wiring department where our contractors work.

Our candidates will be doing the wiring of control panels on a daily basis. They will be using blueprints and ladder diagrams in order to wire the panels together. They will be responsible for gathering all the necessary wires for the project and for completing the panels with the required amount of supplies. Our client has a specific way that the panels should be wired and put together, our candidates will need to learn and operate accordingly. They will be using various hand tools and also be assisting in the fabrication of the actual electrical cabinets as well.
