Responsibilities

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan opened in 2017 as a beautiful and state of the art 54-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are now accepting applications for Fall Interns in a Master's Level Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselor degree programs.

Position Description:

With our interdisciplinary team and under the supervisor of a Inpatient Clinician interns will receive training and inpatient experience in providing a thorough psychosocial assessment, group therapeutic services and education, treatment planning, and coordination of care. Additional opportunities to gain experience with assessment/intake teams and outpatient programs may also be available depending on schedule.

Qualifications

Intern Requirements:

Current master's level preparation from an accredited school with an active affiliation agreeement.
