Overview and Essential Functions

CAVO Broadband Communications is currently hiring and Administrative Assistant to join our team to help connect America. As a full service telecommunications company, we specialize in building, maintaining, and managing some of the largest upgrades, rebuilds and new builds as well as a wide range of services including performing residential and/or multi-dwelling unit cable television, high speed data and/or telephony installations from the tap to the customer premise equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner to exact client specifications.

What you’ll do…

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepares and distributes daily/weekly/monthly reports.

  • Reconciles credit card charges and prepares statements for approval.

  • Reviews spend data and provide analysis to enable cost containment.

  • Makes travel and hotel arrangements for support staff and field operations.

  • Provides administrative support to Corporate Centers

  • Prioritize and coordinate with internal teams to deliver work product within commitment dates and times.

  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and develop a solution while working with various teams to meet goals.

  • Apply critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results to make decisions based on available information.

  • The ability to work within the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Answers customer and other calls with a “face of the company” attitude.

  • Assists with ordering office supplies/managing cost.

  • Assists with general office duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Required skills for success:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required

  • Six (6) months of experience in an administrative role or related experience required

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to project professionalism in client and employee interactions

  • Ability to learn new systems and software related to the role

  • Strong understanding of Google and Office Suites

  • Critical thinking skills
