Role Definition

• As an Accountant you will provide timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.

• Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.

• Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.

• Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analysing and reporting of consolidated financial results.

• Full ownership and management of the UK intercompany process including working closely with members of the finance team and international colleagues to ensure accurate and timely recording of both inbound and outbound intercompany transactions.

• Responsible for all purchase receivables accounting.

• Provide accurate and timely journal reviews and approval.

• Review and sign off month end reconciliations to support the wider team.

Skills and Experience:

• Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy.

• Implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms.

• Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.

• Works with financial transactions and related documentation within the organization.

• Participates in accounting practices of classifying and recording financial data.

• Follows regulations for entering and reporting the financial content in major accounting systems.

• Implements organizational standards for financial record keeping.

• Follows organizational methods and procedures for financial record keeping.

• Supplies financial data that is used in reports.

• ACCA / CIMA qualified.

Job Title: Accountant

Salary: £42,515 – £55,269

Contract: 18 Month fixed Term Contract

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours, hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office

Benefits:

24 days annual leave increasing with service to 30 days,

10% performance bonus (Paid quarterly)
