Amazon’s legal team is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support business partners who continually raise the bar for the mobile and desktop customer experiences and accelerate the ability for Amazon builders worldwide to deliver and operate innovative shopping experiences at scale. The attorney will provide legal guidance on product/service launches, regulatory issues, and compliance-related initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

• Support business leaders as lead counsel on product and feature launches

• Counsel on regulatory and compliance matters

• Provide day-to-day, customer-focused advice

• Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries

• Occasional travel required

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $123,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
