Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supply Planning Lead.

Job summary

This position will be an integral member of Power Delivery and Regulation Division (PDRD) Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities aimed at the development of exceptional Customer delivery through accurate schedule. The Supply Planning Lead will manage the Master Scheduling process strategy; support the Supply team in Quoted Lead time, Order Scheduling, Order Promising and overall fulfillment strategy. Lead SIOP/Demand & Supply Planning & Integretion ( steps at LIPE) you will use proven leadership and change management skills to understand the overall Demand objectives and Supply Constraints and convert into an optimal SKU or Proxy level forecast unit and dollar forecast. You will manage processes related to capacity and service level forecasting (volume and mix), Available to Promise (ATP) logic, and capacity/constraint management. The Primary function of this role is to properly Schedule all assigned Product Line(s); Lead the supply planning team in balancing customer needs with manufacturing/supply chain constraints in order to maximize On-Time Delivery. Lead the RCCP Meeting with Qro Team, Adding the Intercompany request ( be the Contact person for all externals needs at Intercompany demand).This position will Lead working relationships with Product Line Management, Inside Sales Reps., and Operations; as well as Engineering, Order Management, Distribution channels , Qro Material Leaders and Operations Managers.

Job responsibilities

• Working with the Engineering (where applicable) and Operations teams to establish appropriate capacity levels and the overall Supply Plan. Production Capacity , Quantify available capacity vs. load at a Global level, and make capacity level change recommendations.

• Lead the SIOP process to ensure a balanced Slot Plan; identifying gaps in Supply and Demand that results in a single, consensus forecast. Publish a benchmark Customer lead time, by Product line/family/SKU.

• Lead Planning BOM demand and accuracy with the Engineering to drive priority materials and ensure clear visibility of components and component Lead Time to minimize Customer Lead Time and overall working capital investment. Upload PB production level at SAP.

• Ensure processes are in place so that all Sales Orders are Booked, confirmed, and fulfilled to Scheduled dates. Monitor Customer service metrics and analyze gaps related to on-time delivery.

• Maintain and update training material and document procedures as well as, implement & maintain appropriate processes to ensure a productive planning process and well-considered and implementable strategic plans that comply with new/existing business processes

• Generate the Scheduling Policy at System.

• Model potential solutions sets to optimize issues related to the overall business. Act as the ‘Voice of the Customer’ in order to assist in the resolution of Customer inquiries requests. Serve as a the technical resource for Scheduling and capacity related issues and problem solution alternatives for your assigned product line(s)

• Perform Ad-Hoc Analysis as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education level required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Marketing from an accredited institution

  • Advanced English

Technical knowledge

• 5 years’ experience in Operations or Supply Chain functions; at least 2 year in a plant

• 3 years’ experience with demonstrated materials planning, shop floor/machine Scheduling, or Capacity planning "
