Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in New Holland, Pennsylvania

Food manufacturer in New Holland, PA looking for Maintenance Technicians to join their team. Have openings on 2nd shift with a $2.50/hr shift differential. These are direct hire roles with the company!

Maintenance Technician

2nd shift: 3p - 11:30p Monday - Friday ($2.50/hr shift diff)

*Must be able to work OT, including some weekends

Pay Rate: $26-35/hr

Job Description:

This position insures the flow of product through the food processing plant, assuring that equipment is functioning properly. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on production, packaging, material handling and mechanical equipment, also trouble shoots and repairs all Electrical & Pneumatic controls. Fabricate older machines to updated versions. Must work well in a TEAM environment. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to equipment during production.

· Maintain and repair production, packaging and material handling equipment.

· Support machine setups and changeovers.

· Respond to production trouble calls.

· Utilize testing equipment or diagnostic skills to determine root cause of problems.

· Instruct production operators as needed to prevent machine or system damage.

· Perform preventive maintenance.

· Repair floors, walls and doors and clean and organize maintenance shop area;

· Participates in Continuous Improvement Process.

· Able to troubleshoot automation, mechanical, servo, utility equipment issues & make improvements.
