As a member of the Americas Shared Services IT Department, you will be responsible for delivering high quality technology support and services to the end user community. The ideal candidate must balance strong technical abilities with genuine interpersonal skills while being able to prioritize their workload.

As an Americas Divisional team member, you will be responsible for working with the global and local IT team members to assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining voice and collaboration systems for the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, VoIP systems, video conferencing, instant messaging, and other collaboration tools. The role may also involve working with vendors, troubleshooting issues, and providing end-user support. The role will also be responsible for managing/negotiating costs with the service providers and overseeing the monthly billing requirements.

What you will be doing:

  • Implementing and maintaining voice and collaboration systems

  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues

  • Administration of Mobile device(s) and associated contracts/vendors

  • M365 Application Integrations

  • Providing end-user support for associated technologies within the scope of the position

  • Collaborating with vendors and other IT team members

  • Management of the monthly costs associated with the service providers and/or carriers at a Divisional level

  • Administration and deployment of Divisional UCaaS solution

  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies

  • Participate in various internal business and technology councils and other groups

  • ASSA ABLOY is a global company; travel is required, mostly in North America, also to some extent in Central and South America

    Key skills and qualifications may include:

  • Strong technical knowledge of voice and collaboration systems

  • Experience with VoIP, video conferencing, and other collaboration tools

  • MS Teams Rooms

  • Experience managing and/or maintaining a UcaaS solution

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Relevant certifications or training

  • A degree in a related field may be preferred
