Eaton Corporation Production Supervisor - 1st Shift in El Paso, Texas

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 1st Shift. This role will manage and direct the Manufacturing team to ensure the achievement of the plant goals focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory & cost attainment.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

  • Planning daily production (Load Performance) based on Scheduling Plan.

  • Ensure monitoring production standards and control processes established by Manufacturing manual, established by the production load cell or production target.

  • Accomplish all objectives belongs to the area; Delivery, Load Plan, Scrap Reduction, etc.

  • Maintain and meet all ISO / EQMS Quality Standards for products.

  • Manage the inventory of raw materials and in-process within the production line.

  • Drive preventive & corrective actions related to daily manufacturing processes through Departmental Team through weekly meetings.

  • Maintain 5’S in the area.

  • Perform monthly department results presentation in terms of metrics and measures established by Eaton.

  • Supervise and monitor the hourly personnel within their assigned production lines; ensuring attendance, conflicts management, disciplinary action, awards, etc.

  • Perform and report to Human Resources changes/ personnel movements such as: department changes, shift changes, promotions, departures, and others.

  • Actively participate in the Departmental Teams contributing to Continuous improvements that impact the productivity that impact Productivity optimization.

  • Follow the compliance of ELSS tools and ensure all employees are trained on the system.

  • Responsible of the Performance Management, for the personnel assigned to his/her manufacturing lines.

  • Support and comply with EBS tools.

  • Lead and support Manufacturing processes and achieve levels according with business requirements.

  • Ensures EHS policies and procedures are achieved to maintain a secure environment for the employees.

  • Develop projects to improve productivity and efficiency across the Manufacturing area.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Mechanic), Business Administration, Management, or related field from an accredited institution.

  • 1-3 years of past supervisory experience.

  • General knowledge of: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Total Quality Management, Statistical Process Control Techniques, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management and Control.

  • In-depth knowledge of all facets of manufacturing and manufacturing processes, including material planning, scheduling, equipment utilization, material flow, and manpower staffing.

  • Strong administrative abilities to ensure proper budgeting expense control while providing overall direction to the manufacturing operation.

  • Excellent Leadership qualities, ability to communicate to all levels of the organization; manage, consult, gain buy-in, and make key decisions based on employee welfare, legal requirements, and business objectives.

  • English\Spanish with good oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Additional Information

This role will make sure the new plant in El Paso, TX, is ready to produce PCD products per the schedule. After completing the project, this role will be part of the operations of the plant.
