Description

We are offering an opportunity for a proficient Software Developer to join our team situated in Columbus, Ohio. . You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies like C#, Kafka, Angular, and .NET and will be responsible for adding features and resolving bugs, while mentoring development teams and operating individually.

Responsibilities:

• Write code, develop architectural documents, and contribute to policy standards.

• Understand and apply different design patterns and techniques to ensure code readability, testability, and adaptability.

• Actively work with the security team to refine the team's approach to security based on the organization's security strategy.

• Review epics and projects critically to ensure they're appropriately broken down, prioritized, and well understood by the team.

• Handle risk, change, and uncertainty within the team by making responsible decisions without having the complete picture.

• Anticipate and communicate blockers, delays, and cost ballooning within the team’s projects, before they require escalation.

• Operate in an architect capacity for some work-streams to design services and systems using well accepted design patterns.

• Participate in inter-team workflow design conversations, help articulate needs of APIs and data-flows between teams and systems across domain boundaries.

• Use systematic debugging to diagnose all issues within the scope of their domain.

• Proficient in using software development skills including but not limited to Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS, C Sharp Programming (C#).

Requirements

• Proficiency in C Sharp Programming (C#)

• Expertise in Backend Development and API Development

• Familiarity with Apache Struts and ASP.NET

• Experience with Ajax and CSS

• Knowledge of Database management and EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in AB Testing

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Proven track record in software development

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends
