**POSITION: Equipment Operator City of Columbus

The City of Columbus has a current job opening and is accepting applications for the position of a fulltime Equipment Operator.

[[This is semiskilled work in the operation of trucks, tractors and other light and moderately heavy automotive equipment. An employee in this class is responsible for the operation of a variety of light and moderately heavy equipment in the construction, maintenance and repair of the city's streets, alleys, bridges, storm sewers, culverts and right-of-ways. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Streets Supervisor, and the employee exercises some independent judgment in the operation of assigned equipment. Must maintain a Commercial driver's license within first 3 months of hire.

Pay Range is $21.34 - $28.81 per hour and offers a competitive benefit package.
