The Project Manager, Human Resources will be focused on developing, implementing, and leading Learning & Development for the Chaska site and globally impacting our learning and development within the Clinical Chemistry & Immunoassay business unit. In addition, this position will develop and lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies – including workforce development, talent sourcing, and associate engagement events - for the Chaska site. You’ll also contribute to those strategies across the Beckman Coulter organization.

This position is a member of the Human Resources team reporting to the Director of Human Resources, Clinical Chemistry / Immunoassay business unit. This is an onsite position in Chaska Minnesota, targeting 3 days per week of onsite presence in support of our associates at the Chaska location, with schedule flexibility. The Chaska site is one of our largest anchor sites, and growing. This role is instrumental in developing our associates and enhancing our associate value proposition. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, lead, and track the efficacy of our associate and leadership development offerings at the Chaska site. Focus on both strategy and implementation, using needs analysis and sustainment principles

  • Create a diversity networking, sourcing and external talent acquisition strategy which includes identifying diversity partners, vendors and schools to partner with the ultimate goal to fill our talent funnel with top diverse talent to place into our roles while contributing to the expansion of our presence in our local labor markets

  • Work with local employee group leads to plan, organize and facilitate meaningful site D + I educational events and celebrations

  • Partner with the BEC DE + I Program Lead to align local programs with the BEC DE + I strategic roadmap and liaise with Beckman Coulter DE + I Council and the Danaher resource group team to achieve overall program goals

  • In close partnership with the HR and Talent Management team, plan, organize, enable and facilitate a calendar of associate development and learning programs for the site. These programs may include Situational Leadership, Situational Self-Leadership, Advancing Team Performance, DiSC, New People Leader Orientation, and other curriculum.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience OR Doctoral degree with 4+ years of experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of previous work experience in Human Resources as an HRBP or an HR project leader.

  • Training and facilitation experience.

  • Strong project management experience – developing programs from needs analysis through efficacy tracking.

  • Experience working with senior leaders, using information and influence to successfully navigate change

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Strong communication skills

  • DE&I program experience

  • Previous work experience in a complex, global, multicultural environment
