Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking strong SkillsBuild Lead for India CSR to drive end-to-end program strategy, execution and delivery of SkillsBuild - a strategic role for India CSR. SkillsBuild Lead will partner closely with IBM Corporate Responsibility Regional leaders and be responsible for effective and outcome driven SkillsBuild implementations with our strategic partner organizations.

  • To develop adoption strategies and drive SkillsBuild program for High School, Adult Learners & Academia(Higher Education) catering to global metrics of the program.

  • Consolidation of SkillsBuild initiatives across 3-offerings and creating impactful programs for capturing mindshare in academia for SkillsBuild program.

  • Work with Program Managers to create program implementation plans with milestones.

  • Work with external stakeholders including government and academic bodies for creating SkillsBuild adoption opportunities.

  • Partner closely with global teams on content upgradation roadmap and identifying new opportunities for learner ecosystem.

  • Work closely with NPO partners to ensure quality delivery of SkillsBuild content according to India strategy for SkillsBuild.

  • Work with PMs for grant proposals closure and ensuring the proposals are in sync with global strategy and targets.

  • Work with PMs for weekly updates to check progress on programs and SkillsBuild metrics.

  • Work with PMs to ensure milestones and contingency plans as needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Program Management: Self-organized with a keen ability to identify problems and develop solutions to complex challenges; be able to manage multiple workstreams and priorities at once, be able to synthesize and distil information from multiple inputs to develop a strong strategy & plan; must be willing to take on strategic challenges and deliver solutions. Candidates with IBM business, delivery, AI, ability to manage teams and complex work envrioenment & teams experience will have a strong advantage.

Learning: A sound knowledge of instructional design, program development, analytics, learning technology and learning principles.

General understanding of the educational and workforce skills landscape: including non-profit enterprises, government agencies (especially those focused on employment and upskilling). Understanding of CSR landscape in India.

Relationship with partner organizations: Strong professionalism and stakeholder management skills. Can easily adapt to different environments and cultures. Customer / partner relationship skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in strategy/managing consulting and/or digital transformation roles

  • Experience with digital (online) learning platforms and digital credentials

  • Strong communication and influencing skills (written and verbal)

  • Strategic thinking & program management expertise

  • Strong work ethic with a competitive nature and a desire to succeed

  • Team leadership and people management skills

  • Intense curiosity to learn and willingness to be coached

  • Experience in CSR or NGO a plus, especially with a focus on workforce development

  • Drive, self-motivation and robust organisational skills are important
