Position Summary: As an individual contributor, this role ensures Quality in all aspects (product, services, and activities) with a special focus to meet customer and internal requirements. Works with the project team to help mitigate any potential misalignment/deviation during project execution and will communicate deviations into the organization and to the customer.

What you can look forward to as a Project Quality Planning Engineer:

  • Drive and manage Quality Planning for new products according to GDPEP and CVS-PEP process in order to achieve Safe Launch, Quality KPIs Targets and Customer Satisfaction.

  • Drive strong Quality Mindset in the project execution and R&D teams. Drive and manage Project Quality Strategy and the Supporting Quality Team (SQT).

  • Drive and manage the understanding of Customer requirements related to quality project/planning.

  • Drive and manage projects to be with status green (quality/on-time) but highlight associated risks in the current phase of the project and if projects turn into "red" (according to gate compliance).

  • Drive and manage completion of APQP and PPAP processes to obtain customer approval in time.

  • Drive and manage mitigation and quality escalation/actions for identified risks and opportunities. Provide functional excellence for problem resolution/ RCA for non-conformities and critical issues impacting the customer or putting the project at risk.

  • Drive and manage quality planning activities to ensure SOP readiness and safe launch.

  • Drive and manage the identification of lessons learned (within PL and in the divisional network team).

Your profile as a Project Quality Planning Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronics, mechanics), or related technical experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance. Knowledge of APQP.

  • Strong Project Management/Project Quality experience.

  • Must be able to drive strong customer focus.

  • Advanced product and production knowledge.

  • Strong problem resolution and learning sharing competence.

  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and influence skills in cross functional/cross regional project teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of Automotive Standards.

  • Knowledge of ASPICE.
