Procurement Sourcing Lead The Procurement Sourcing Lead role will be an important part of a comprehensive Strategic Sourcing program within Comerica Bank. The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge and experience conducting requirements gathering, executing sourcing events (RFI, RFS, RFP, etc.), and leading strategic negotiations and contracting in one or more of the following categories: Banking Services, Technology Services, which includes - Cloud Services, Enterprise Software Solutions (Applications, SaaS, On Demand, High Volume Licensing, VARs), Telecommunications (Voice, Data, Network), and related Professional/Outsourcing Services.

Position Responsibilities: Manage Supplier Lifecycle activities for assigned projects and programs, which includes Opportunity Assessment, Sourcing, Contracting and related Supplier Due Diligence activities. Ensure consistent and repeatable execution of the sourcing process; leverage data analytics to identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities in support of specific strategic and business objectives; present analysis around opportunities to Senior Management for consideration. Support for ongoing category management/planning (strategy management) activities including driving supplier performance, demand management savings and increasing category compliance. Develop integrated (tactical and strategic) sourcing strategies that will deliver strongest business value, and drives category transformation. Provide subject matter expertise on all facets of sourcing including, alternative arrangements, recommended supplier(s), process, and methodology. Communicate, negotiate and own relationships with clients and suppliers through all levels of organization. Senior Management communication and interface required. Lead clients through requirements gathering, business case development, development of sourcing approach and structure, help determine potential suppliers, execute RFx events, develop and execute on negotiation plans. Evaluate strategically aligned sourcing opportunities and any related impact(s), risks, compliance issues and/or regulatory impacts that may arise from such business arrangements. Lead and/or provide guidance to resources supporting the execution of the Sourcing and Contract processes. CPSM, CPTE / CTPS, aCOP, and/or COP certification and E-Procurement experience.

Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 4 years of relevant experience 7 years experience managing complex sourcing initiatives 7 years experience with high level administrative and service-delivery methodologies and practices 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business case development and developing position papers 3 years of experience in direct management Financial Center 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager.
